Ombudsman service PSC Elsene

External ombudsman service

At PSC Elsene, you can contact an external ombudsman service, organised by the Mental Health Consultation Platform of the Brussels-Capital Region.

The ombudsman service is here to listen, mediate and help you when you have questions or difficulties in contact with the care services.

The services of the ombudsman are completely free of charge.

What does the ombudsman service do?

The ombudsman service helps you with questions about your rights as a patient, or when you have a problem, complaint or dissatisfaction that you cannot (or can no longer) discuss directly with the team.

The ombudsman listens to your story in complete confidence and examines with you what steps can help to find a solution.

The ombudsman service can, among other things:

  • organise a mediation meeting between you and the staff members involved
  • contact the care provider to open a discussion about the problem
  • give advice and tips to find a solution yourself

The ombudsman service works independently of the centre and guarantees discretion, objectivity and respect in every contact. You are therefore never alone when something is difficult in your journey.

How to get in touch?

You can contact the ombudsman in several ways:

During office hours

Every Thursday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Staminee.
A quiet room is always available to talk in confidence.

Via the ombudsman letterbox

Leave a message in the ombudsman letterbox in the centre.
The ombudsman will contact you as soon as possible.
