PSC Elsene processes personal data exclusively in the context of care provision, treatment, billing and legal obligations.
What data do we collect?
We only request and store a limited amount of data about you that is necessary for:
- your treatment and support;
- billing to you and your health insurance;
- legal and administrative obligations;
- mandatory statistical reporting to the authorities.
Treatment data
Medical and therapeutic information necessary for your care and treatment within our centre.
Billing data
Data required for billing in accordance with applicable legal obligations and regulations.
Statistical data
Anonymised data that we are legally required to provide to the competent public authorities.
How long do we keep your data?
Your personal data is not kept longer than necessary for your treatment or as required by law.
For example, your medical record is kept for a maximum of 31 years after the last patient contact, in accordance with applicable legislation.
How do we protect your data?
Your data is stored securely and is only accessible to staff members who need it in the context of their role.
Data is only shared when required by law or necessary for the provision of care.
Your data is not stored or processed outside the European Union.
Under strict conditions, an external software supplier may have limited technical access to the electronic file for maintenance, security and optimisation of the software.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- view your personal data;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have certain data deleted where permitted by law;
- object to certain processing of personal data.
